Meet Chaka aka MuttildaHave you ever met a famous character from a book? Well, now you have. My name is Muttilda, and Im named after the main character in the Roald Dahl book, Matilda. My government name is Chaka (that means Gods Dogs Paperwork) and this paperwork has a lot of important information like my age: 8 months old, my color: brown with a white chest, my breed: Ridgeback mix, and something that says spayed. I dont know what any of that means, but foster momma says its pretty important stuff.Foster momma is a reading teacher for young kids, and she loves to name her fosters after characters from the books she reads. She tells me Muttilda is super smart, kind, and likes to take care of others. She also says that Muttilda started off life in a family that didnt care for her and treat her right, but eventually after patience and affection, she found a family who loved her. This is my dream.I can be a little skittish at first, because I dont know who to trust, but once I know your hand is to pet me and not hurt me, Im quite the friend. I enjoy being outside quite a bit. I would love a yard and some shade to spend my days in. Notice I said DAYS, because I dont like to be outside at night. I prefer the comfort and safety of my kennel to sleep in. I get along well with other dogs of all sizes. My favorite snack is cheetoh puffs. I am learning the rules of going potty and foster momma says I almost have an A+. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our puppies are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested if not started on heartworm preventatives early, and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $500 for puppies under a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery. Microchips will be registered to new owner(s) within a week of arrival of your pet. If a name change is desired, the new name should be emailed to records@godsdogsrescue.org prior to arrival of your new pup.
