My story
Dashing Duncans Debonair Debut!!!!!*sounds the trumpets. drum rolls. and guitar solo!*Okay, folks, first line of business, full disclosure, I think my Foster Mom might be a sorcerer. I think she cheated and looked at the furture in a crystal ball. Back in mid June, when she saw my mangey crusty infected skeletor frame, she wishpured to me I am going to name you Duncan and you are going to be dashing! She even made me my very own Facebook page to dogcument my progress called Dashing Duncan /Dashing-Duncan-836/Good gravy it took lots to get me to my after shot. Food, medicines, prayers, rest, coconut massages, yada yadaCut to end of July. Tada! Instead of oozing yuck, I am oozing happy outta my helicopter tail. I am white with gingerbread patches. Speaking of yummy treats like gingerbread, Foster Mom also refurs to me as Dunkin Donuts and the Duncanator. My spots are also basketball colored, so you can call me Tim Duncan too.I am tall like a baller, at 11 months old in August, I am weighing in at 47 pounds. I am still underweight for my frame. I should get to 70 pounds. My mesmerizing eye color, thunderous bork, and houndy drooped ears are thought to come from me being a mix of Catahoula with American Bulldog perhaps. I have a brother named Hudson and his colors are eye poppers too.Foster Mommy says I am a HUGE goober, like a gangly teenage boy right now, my coordinations have not caught up with my size. Speaking of teenage milestones, I also had my furst kiss. Guess who? Hint. It starts with Foster and ends with Mommy. It was Foster Mommy! I didnt know about kisses before, I only knew about feeling icky, now I pucker up on a regular basis.I play well with dogs of all sizes. Even the weird little one, who thinks she is a Mastiff, but actually is a chipmunk. I have had a hard time filling out, because I run all my food off during recess. Note to self, need more snackums! I am housebroken, doggy door trained and use my crate as a safe space for sleeps and eats. Howlever, my prefurential snooze spot is Foster Mommys bed. I would also like a big doggie companion to sleep and play with at my new home.Another clue of my houndy hairyatage is my talking style. I talk when I want to play. I act as a dinner bell to remind Foster Mommy that it is half past Feed Me OClock. Even though I am always starving, I do contain my excitement and do a sit before I chow down. I am not a fan of being locked in another room either, you will hear my grievances reported. I am a social guy and need to be where the action is.If you adopt me, you have to promise to send Foster Mommy a mixed tape of my snoring. She uses it to sooth herself to sleep. I am not sure if she will be able to sleep without my snores. I also hope you dont mind full on face smooches. I do those. You might have to pry me gently out of Foster Mommys grasp, but I am ready to be adopted. I know she needs room in her home to save more sad dogs, but I will always have a place in her heart (there is room for lots of dogs in there, furgurtively speaking)GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter.
