My story
A special guy is looking for a wonderful person to foster or adopt him.Meet TurboI was searching for a cheesy pick up line to use, but cheesy pickup lines, do not actually contain cheese.how do the human says.ironical. My name is ironical too, they call me Turbo but I cannot go turbo speed. When I was at the city shelter they took a video of me nudging my pink leopard print blankets around to make a little nest. From this video you could determine that my back legs did not seem to be opawrating at 100%. They thought, easy peasy pumpkin spice squeezy, he probably just needs FHO surgery and he will be good as new. Wrong. Before being taken to animal control, I must have endured a trauma to my head. This left me with some neurogoggleical, newrologsiscal, neurological challenges. I can walk and romp like the best of em, until finally my back legs just kinda give up and refuse to coopawrate with me. Muttneuvering steps and stairs is a big whoa, but with a little guidance, I can do some low steps. I need a one story house without a lot of stairs. The volunteers ordered me some socks, but when they didnt arrive quickly, they did a Muttgiver move and fashioned me some make-do glove socks to help gain traction on slippy surfaces. I LIKE slippy surfaces, because the water hose and kiddy pool are two of my buds, but I need some help with slip resistant socks.I love everyone I meet. But due to my head trauma I appear cross eyed and have limited vision. In order to recognize a dog or a people, I have to get right up in their biz and sniff them. Some dogs find this action annoying but I cant help it, when your eyes dont work, you gotta use your snoozle. Therefur, I need a home with dogs and people that dont mind my personal space invasions. I am a space invader??? I thought I was a Pitbull???My physical challenges make for some really comical moments. When you holler my name, I come running full-ish speed. My brakes dont work. I usually make a Seinfeld Kramer style entrance. I love to hear my name and be loved on, my run might be silly, but I feel like a white knight galloping in on a fierce stallion. You just have to use your imagination. The hope is that with lots of practice, my legs will get stronger and more coordinated. I need a home that understands that I might not ever be able to climb mount Kilimanjaro or even a mole hill. The nice thing about me is that I am quiet, dont bark, and never react poorly to any dogs or people, except for nipping a finger or two when taking treats, because my aim is off and dang it, I am just excited about the weenie. I cant see the weenie, but I can smell the weenie, so I just go for it. And in all honesty, finger tips and weenies are the exact same color. Sawry!I need an adopter or foster than wont mind halping a guy up into the vehicle or onto the couch. Remember, I cant navigate too many ups and downs, so flat grippy surfaces are best. I am voice activated and will follow you to the ends of the earth if you talk to me, whelp, maybe not the ends of the earth, but at least from the bedroom to the kitchen for a weenie.
