My story
Meet Reno JuMName:My name is Reno because the ladies that halped me out were from Nevada. I do have one claruffication. I am a girl dog. I know Reno could be a co-ed name. Feel free to use my mouf as a slot machine as long as the tokens are made of reconstitooted pork.Word of the Day:Reno-vation. Call it a renovation, refurbishment, or remodel. When I arrived at the rescue I was in despawrate need of medical care. I had an open wound on my chest and had to get stitches. I thought only snitches get stitches! I guess good girls get them sometimes too.Voted Most Likely To:Be the life of the pawty or at least the kennel. I share a kennel with a few other doggies. I am as bouncey as a ball and have a ball playing with a litteral ball with the other doggies. Ball sure is an underrated word, you can use it in some many ways.Age/Weight/Breed:My age is 2 years and my weight upawn arrival was just 40ish pounds. I was way too skinny according to the Rescue Mamas, so I am getting bonus foods and will fill out to be a large dog, just crossing past medium. The Rescue Mamas say my ears are quite Houndy, so they have me listed as a Hound breed. What The Volunteers Have To Say About Her:We know we arent allowed to pick favorites. Yes, we know, we need to love all the dogs equally *insert mild eye roll*. But on the down low, Reno is one of our favorites. She came in so sad and injured and made a complete 180.If She Were a Cartoon Character:Bambi of course! Those big doe brown eyes are extremely hard to resist.Skills:I am crate and leash trained. I am also an unparalleled pawsenger in a vehicle. Plus I wont judge your number of attempts to parallel park your car. Reverse, pull forward, reverse, pull forward, repeat. I dont care, we are spending time together and that is all that matters.Favorite Song:I went from having a theme jam of Hold Onto Me, Cause Im a Little Unsteady by X Ambassadors to Happy by Pharrell real quick. But even though I am much more steady and sturdy now, I will still like if you hold onto me sometimes, because I love hugs and kisses.Favorite Body Part According to Her Rescue Playmate Brylee, A Hound/Heeler Mix:Those dang ears. Oops, I meant dang-ley ears. We arent allowed to say dang round here, I might have to put a treat into the swear jar. Renos ears are a fan favorite. They are good for nibbles and people will love to rub them. - BryleeFavorite Things:Playing with dogs. Giving hugs to humans. Car rides. My new sweaters! When I was living as a stray, I didnt have any sweaters to keep me warm. If you adopt me, I will wear sweaters for you too, for warmth or just to look cute, your choice!
